Oni  (鬼 (おに), Oni^?) are Yōkai that serve as the main threat in the Sengoku†Koihime Series. They were first introduced in its first game, Sengoku†Koihime ~Otome Kenran ☆ Sengoku Emaki~.

Plot

Oni are the main source of evil that has spread to the whole of Japan. All clans lead a difficult and long struggle with them. It is with them that Nitta Kensuke is forced to fight, and for this he will need to unite all the clans of Japan in order to confront these monsters.

In Sengoku†Koihime X Oni has their own commander, Takeda Nobutora. It also reveals that the one behind this misfortune was the summoner and heir of the imperial throne, Yoshino.
