The Green Dragon Crescent Blade (
It is based on the weapon said to be wielded by the historical character Guan Yu.
Appearance[]
It is a guandao, a polearm characterized by a heavy single-edged blade with a spike on the back, mounted on a long pole. The blade is styled with pink highlights on its side. A blue-green dragon head with a golden snout and golden hair connects the blade to the pole, giving the appearance of the dragon either devouring or spewing forth the blade. A pink sash is tied just beneath the dragon's neck. Beneath the head is a blue-green portion of the pole, designed to appear as if the scales of the green dragon. The rest of the pole is of a dark red-violet color. A golden spike tips the bottom of the pole.

This weapon is first seen already in the possession of Kan'u, upon meeting Kazuto. Her skill with its use has already begun making a name for the weapon and warrior. It is to the point that, by the time the Anti-Tōtaku Alliance is formed, the rumors had already spread far enough that Kan'u had gained the attention of many high ranking members of the empire, including Sōsō Mōtoku. Furthermore, even Chōryō Bun'en admits to having styled her own weapon, the Flying Dragon Crescent Blade, to it.
This weapon is so emblematic of Kan'u that the weapon is soon seen as an extension of Kan'u herself, that its mere appearance, even if no one recognizes Kan'u's face, would indicate her identity. In one particular training exercise during Shin Koihime†Musō, Kazuto even exploited this, by borrowing the weapon and pretending to be the general, allowing Kan'u to secure the victory.
